Valved exhaust systems

A refined setting. A sportier character. One tailored system.

“Great customer service” · Connor J, customer review

Client-supplied photographs of the Cupra 290 valved exhaust layout, stainless steel welds and electronic valve assembly

Two modes. One considered system.

A valve changes the exhaust route. It does not guarantee a particular volume: the engine, existing modifications, valve position and remaining silencers all influence the result.

Valve closed
A quieter, more refined character, with the silencing layout planned around everyday driving and your existing exhaust.
Valve open
A sportier sound character. Appropriate silencing is still important; open does not have to mean an entirely unsilenced system.

Before you book.

Can a valve be added to my existing exhaust?

It depends on the current layout, available space, condition and the sound you want. In our Cupra 290 case study, a bespoke valved middle section retained the original rear silencer and tailpipes. That specification is an example, not a universal fitment.

Will both settings suit everyday driving?

The valve route, remaining silencers, engine and existing modifications all affect each setting. Discuss cold starts, motorway use and your preferred volume with us before choosing a layout. A valve alone cannot guarantee a quiet or drone-free result.

Where can I hear a real example?

The linked Cupra 290 build reel shows a genuine customer project. Recordings and phone speakers do not reproduce in-person sound exactly, and another engine or exhaust layout will sound different. Use it as a starting point for discussing your own car.

Speak to the people doing the work.

Share the model, engine, registration, existing modifications and the sound you want. We will explain the next step and confirm the specification and price before work is agreed.
