A new noise does not always mean a complete replacement. We inspect the condition, joints and supports before recommending repair or replacement.
- Leaks & joints
- Assessment of leaking connections and previous welds, with welding or joint repair where the surrounding metal is suitable.
- Pipework & flex sections
- Inspection of cracked, corroded or damaged sections. The condition and available access determine the repair options.
- Silencers & supports
- Checks for damaged silencers, loose mounts and contact with the body. We explain what can be repaired and what needs replacing.

Before you book.
Does a leaking exhaust need a complete replacement?
Not always. A joint, flex section or localised area may be repairable if the surrounding metal is sound. Extensive corrosion or damage can make replacement the more appropriate option. Inspection determines the recommendation.
Can I drive with a noisy or damaged exhaust?
A noise alone cannot establish whether the car is safe. If the exhaust is dragging, loose or allowing fumes into the cabin, stop driving and arrange safe assistance. Call the workshop before travelling; a photograph cannot replace an inspection.
How much does an exhaust repair cost?
Repairs are quoted after assessment rather than at a fixed online price. Access, corrosion, the affected components and the work needed all influence the quote. We explain the proposed work and price before it is agreed.
